Video: Jet Force Gemini Game Boy Color Intro

As some of you older gamers may know, there was once a fabled Game Boy Color counterpart being developed for Rare’s N64 classic, Jet Force Gemini. The title was supposedly being built by developer Bit Studios, and was to include an isometric 2D view and gameplay similar to the original. Rare was rumored to be overseeing the project. However, up until now, there were only ever rumors of the games existence, supported by unverifiable screenshots. However, a video has now surfaced showing the intro to the handheld version of the game–and may I say it looks damn good for a Game Boy Color title. You can see what I mean in the video below.

  1. Gawd damn! I loved me some jet force Gemini, that game was a big part of my childhood, oh the memories….

  2. Now fucking Microsoft sitting on a bunch of great games and will never do anything good with them, smh , if only Nintendo could get back this game and banjo kazooie..

Well it is partly Nintendo’s fault for selling their shares that they had in the Rare company & it’s IPs. Blame them for letting all of those great IPs go instead of buying the shares that Microsoft owned. But if you are a Nintendite, you’ll put all the blame on Microsoft because there is no way Almighty God Nintendo could ever do any wrong in your poor close minded mind. Tsk tsk. I hope you prove me wrong, though. Prove you aren’t shackled to Nintendo like a bitch or a slave. If you are, free yourself or you will fall when Nintendo inevitably does. All things must come to an end eventually if they become corrupt by money. Nintendo is no exception.

Since Microsoft does not have their own handheld, you will be able to play any of the Rare IPs they own if they were handheld games. A shame that’s the only Rare titles you’ll be playing on a Nintendo system because the fools at Nintendo sold their shares of Rare & it’s IPs to Microsoft. But whatever is Nintendo’s loss will be the gain of it’s enemies.
