The level creator aspect of Super Mario Maker has been affected by a bug which has prompted Nintendo to inform customers of a day and a half of online downtime. An unspecified bug is to blame for the problems that are causing issue with the “Create” mode so Nintendo has stopped online functionality. Nintendo says that the maintenance will end at 8 p.m. Eastern tomorrow night which is 1 a.m. GMT on Friday morning. Once the bug has been resolved Nintendo will issue a software update.
Super Mario Maker Still Under Maintenance Due To Bug

I wonder what the bug was.
Currently, I’m too busy to play much, so this won’t affect me.
well it won’t take that long for them to fix the bug problem yeah it happen to all other nintendo games and there bug problem.
What? The “9-days waiting” BS or some other imaginary problem nobody is reporting?
They must be talking about those literal bugs that appear sometimes when I’m creating a course. They look like little gnats or flies. I always thought those things we’re weird. I’m glad they are finally removing them.
@lmaoshmsfo: Is this irony? You can receive two amiibo costumes with playing the so-called “gnat attack” which means to kill those gnats. ;-) There’s no bug at all in it!
WAIT. I COULD HAVE BEEN KILLING THOSE GNATS THIS WHOLE TIME? Now I’m sad that they are removing this feature.
