Popular toy manufacturer Tomy has announced that they’re planning to bring a number of mythical Pokemon to select North American retailers throughout the year. To celebrate the franchise’s 20th anniversary Tomy is unleashing new Pokemon toys from February to December 2016. These 8-inch and 2-inch Mythical Pokemon plushies will be available at Toys “R” Us, GameStop, and Walmart. The company also revealed that they will be producing various limited edition Pikachu toys as retailer exclusives during the rest of the year.

      1. A few weeks ago I was passing through a local Walmart and instantly noticed a fat, well made, very purple Gengar. It was made by Tomy and the stand box was black and said “trainer series 3” I’m pretty sure. It was 30$, I would have got it but I lacked cash. Went back a couple days later and it was gone. : [

              1. Pretty close really, iv been seeing the 4 pack gold edition tomy toys and the special Gold pikachu 20th anniversary edition. Hell I could buy one right now, but I actually don’t like the way it looks. It has some kind of light print on his body, throws me off completely. I get why, I just like simplicity when it comes the Pocket Monsters I guess.

I am the genwunner lol. Or whatever you new age kids call it.

  1. I wonder if the development team can do a gold statue for Pokemon 20th anniversary yeah that’s a prefect idea they should do.

  2. This is reeeeeally old news. The pics and release dates of them went on the Pokemon 20th anniversary site back in January. They’re legitamately limited too, so many stores have actually sold out of both the Mew and Pikachu plushes this month.
