A brand new Fire Emblem Fates trailer was uploaded on Nintendo’s YouTube channel today. The trailer, which is almost five minutes long, explains the game’s plot and elaborates on how some of the gameplay will work. A lot of the narration is about Corrin, but they do take the time to talk about some others. The trailer even has its own name, which is “Life on the Front Lines: Star-Crossed Royals”. Feel free to watch the trailer below.
North America will receive the Birthright/Conquest versions of Fire Emblem Fates on February 19th and the Revelation version on March 10th. All three versions will arrive in Europe later this year.

That headline photo is so fucking overused. Use something fucking else already.
I’ve got to agree with Boss Ass on this one. But even saying where’s the actual European release date? No more later this year bullshit!
Your like an pesky fly who likes fucking people.
Are the States getting a version/card with all three paths on it? That’s the only way I’m buying it.
Split versions works for Pokemon because it encourages finding people who have the different ones and trading with them to meet a mutual goal. This is a split where both versions have different gameplay and missions. That’s not right.
…so you’re saying you would rather have split versions that are the same game with minor differences?
yup
No, and I think you know it.
Look at Fire Emblem: the Sacred Stones. After a few chapters, you could choose which character you wanted to follow and see their side of the story, Eirika or Ephraim. You got unique missions for each branch, both were on the same cartridge, and both eventually reconvened by the end of the story. Want to see the other half? Just make a new save file and pick the other route this time.
With Pokemon, all you need is another friend to get the other version you don’t have so you can trade for the Pokemon not present in your version. Both versions have the same story, the same gym battles, the same events, etc. Fates has three stories all different from each other, and to get the full story (one side, the other side, and then the true side), it’s like you’re buying the game three times, one for each story.
This is like if Sonic Adventure 2 were split into two separate packages- one game gave you the Hero story, the other gave you the Dark story, and then after awhile they released the Final story, also separate. Do you think that would have gone over well?
That was for only a few chapters, each path has just about as much content as Awakening, which I find quite acceptable.
~*I want to say don’t bother. This is probably one of those people where “Oh it’s okay with me that they are doing this so it should be okay with everyone else, too. If they don’t like it, fuck them. They can either deal with it or go somewhere else for their entertainment.” Because that worked out so well for Xbone back when that one idiot was in charge of the Xbox brand. What was that moron’s name again?*~
Only the special edition. Which I believe has been sold out for months.
it would be great if theyed make 4 gamepads compatible for the wii u at one time but i am also meaning to say that i think this only works for 2 to 4 players wii u gamepad maybe a game like teenage mutant ninja turtles when you got 4 players resident evil syphonfilter you know games that got multiple characters im guessing you will be able to get more items and slots
