Here’s Why The Pokemon GO GDC Presentation Was Canceled

We heard earlier today that the Pokemon GO presentation which was due to take place during the Games Developer Conference this month has been canceled. The developer Niantic Games has explained why the presentation was canceled and it’s basically because the team is busy focussing getting the product ready for a beta test and launch.

“We have decided to forego our GDC talk on Pokémon GO in order to focus on getting the product ready for beta test and launch,” says Niantic CEO John Hanke. “As much as we hate to disappoint those in the industry attending GDC, we feel our time and energy right now are best spent on making sure every aspect of the product is where we want it to be.”

  1. Boo hoo says all those 14 30 year olds that refuse to buy a 3DS. jk Tho this game ISN’T even a main series game. Just saying. Remember that Dream Radar shit? This is basically that on crack. No thanks.

    1. Yeah it seems like it’s going to be a lot cooler than that. I think it will be cool that when I go visit my mom (she lives near the beach) I’ll be able to catch a lot of water types lol

          1. I remember when you sided with him against me saying he wasn’t eminem123! So you want to change your stance on that matter now? lol

          2. Nope it seems you don’t read all of my comments you only read some here and there but now on the current articles talking about the recent game announcements I will post my opinion of said games and if you don’t like it little kid then guess what shut up or just go past my comment unless if you want to be shitted on like how I have been doing to people who have constantly asked why I am on the websites and if you are butthurt over an opinion then that is on you

    1. Loads of people hopped on board with Ingress at an astonishing rate. Considering this is an already massive IP with a massive amount of secrecy behind a well made trailer, I can almost guarantee the flood gates will open the second it hits any app store.
