The latest edition of Japanese gaming publication Famitsu contains details regarding the long-awaited Zero Time Dilemma. We have yet to get a release date for the game, but the first screenshot of the game is viewable in the scan on the bottom right. What we also know now is the cast of the game accompanied by their respective voice actors.
Cast names revealed:
- Carlos (Tomokazu Sugita)
- Akane (Miyuki Sawashiro)
- Junpei (Suzuki Tatsuhisa)
- Q (Toyosaki Aki)
- Eric (Ishida Akira)
- Mila (Sakamoto Maaya)
- Diana (Noto Mamiko)
- Phi (Omigawa Chiaki)
- Sigma (Ono Daisuke)
- Zero(? – guessing on this one, there’s only nine names in the article)

I wonder how long it will take for a Western localization…..
It’s a worldwide release, since this series is much more popular in the west than Japan
Yay! Seeing the cast is an important step.
I believe I see Akane on the very left? Diana, whom Luna is based on, would be the orange-haired one. Phi is of course the white-haired, but her glasses almost threw me off. We have seen a picture of Sigma from this game before, so he’s easily identifiable. Junpei appears to be the dark-haired person near the left. The totally white guy to the left of him is probably Carlos, and on Junpei’s right is Eric. Which leaves Q as the helmet person and Mila as the token seductress-looking person of the game.
And Junpei is the main protagonist back from the first Zero Escape title IIRC.
Yep, and he was also a somewhat surprise character in the second Zero Escape game.
Ono Daisuke baby.
No Clover this time? Good for her. She’s been through a lot!
They probably would have had to perfect the physical leap through time that Akane may have hinted at in END OR BEGINNING in order for Clover to physically be with them during the Mars Mission, as she was frozen in the treatment pods during this tim. But who’s to say she wouldn’t appear in some form, especially if the game didn’t take place 100% on Mars (I think it will, but I’m just covering all bases).
*time
If I remember correctly, Sigma during the Mars Mission is the 67-year-old version of Sigma and not the 22-year-old version, so we’re likely going to be dealing with a much colder, more stoic, and likely more of a douche Sigma in this game. Phi, on the other hand, appears to be the Phi before the events of the second game and likely has no knowledge of pretty much anything related to espers and time travel, so she’ll likely be more friendly and naive and less distant from others. It’s like a role reversal between the two.
Also, I’ve been geeking out about this ever since I read initial news about ZE3, but I still think it’s wonderful to have Akane, Junpei, Phi, and Sigma as part of the 9 “escapees” all at once.
if this were to come out for the wiiu, i would Never buy it.
