Japanese gaming publication Famitsu has gone hands-on with the next instalment of the Taiko game series Drum Master: Doko Don! Mystery Adventure which launches June 16th in Japan. Sadly there aren’t any videos of the game in action, just a short online preview which you can read here in Japanese. Thankfully, Gematsu has translated some of it and you can read a snippet below. Taiko Drum Master: Doko Don! Mystery Adventure will be released on Nintendo 3DS in Japan on June 16th for 4,800 yen.
The game features a new “Mystery Adventure Mode,” wher you can travel around the world with Don-chan and Kacchan exploring mysterious locations and throwing down against enemies in musical performance battles while advancing the story. You can train your friends and have a maximum party of eight characters.
