The NPD Group has revealed the best-selling games for the month of February in the United States. It’s not been a bad month for Nintendo as Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright entered the charts at number nine. It would have ranked at number 3 if it was combined SKUs. Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright achieved over triple the debut sales of Fire Emblem: Awakening.
If sales for Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright, Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest, and the special edition for Fire Emblem Fates were combined, this title would have ranked third for new physical software sales, said Callahan.The combined first month sales of Fire Emblem Fates would more than triple the first month sales of the next-highest game within the franchise, Fire Emblem: Awakening.

The NPD Group (National Purchase Diary) is a market research company. They pretty much keep track of almost everything physically sold in NA. They work in other countries as well, but they are bigger here in NA.

These charts are just as bad as uk charts Lol I live in the us and I always wondered why the charts for u.s. were never posted. And now that I know wt their like I’m happy that they weren’t Lol

I would object, but a USA rife with filthy casual gamers is the least of my concerns. There are bigger problems looming over. Things like unemployment, a political system that favors the rich and white, the mathematical impossibility of an adequately funded retirement, major droughts in agricultural areas, and the farmers just keep watering like there’s no tomorrow. So I have little reason to complain that COD always manages to stay on the list at all times. Also, congratulations to the tactical RPG that made the list.
