It has been pointed out via social media today, that halfway through the Star Fox Zero credits is a subtle line dedicated to the late Satoru Iwata. The credits read “This game is dedicated to our wingman who fell in battle” and it’s a really touching way to remember and pay tribute to Nintendo’s former president, who sadly passed away last year. The video originally uploaded showing the tribute, has now been removed by the user, but here is a screenshot:

Thanks, Takamaru64

Awww, that’s such a cute and touching credit. Video link is broken though… :(
I know, it’s wonderful.
Thanks for letting me know about the video link, I’ll embed the original now.

They couldn’t have put it in a better way. Nice going Nintendo. RIP
Satoru Iwata is doing a barrel roll in his grave.
I’d love to be doing barrel rolls side by side with him right now.
why is the video down?
Obviously Nintendo had it taken down cause the end credits aren’t supposed to be shown yet.
And because they follow this site, they act even faster.
Really awesome.
That is a truely touching tribute. The way they worded it was truely brilliant.
Right in the feels. Rest in peace Mr. Iwata!
Best way they could have done it!
