The mobile Pokémon app, Pokémon Komaster, has been released in Japan for Android smartphones and will soon have IOS support.
The app is a board game where you select various figures and try to take over the board against your opponent’s figures. The app is free to play with additional options for micro transactions to purchase diamonds, which in turn will allow you to buy better figures to play with. You can also level up the figures throughout gameplay.
Some of the figures in the game have less chance of appearing than others, Charizard, Venusaur, Dialga and Palkia have a 0.5% chance of appearing when you buy a pack.
Here’s 30 seconds of footage of the game from last month, uploaded to the PokemonCoJP YouTube channel:
Unfortunately there are no details as of yet on whether or not Pokémon Komaster will arrive to the West.

Hmm I’d give this a go. Is there a UK release date?
There isn’t at the moment unfortunately!
Ahh damn. Thank you for the reply anyways aha :)
