New My Nintendo Rewards Are Live

If you’ve been waiting for new My Nintendo rewards then the time has come as they are live in both North America and Europe. To add to the mix the new Platinum points prizes are a Super Famicom hoodie, Bee costume, and finally a Viking hat. All three cost 200 Platinum points each so put your money to good use! The rewards will be available until June 1st.

    1. I got Warioware touched and it’s awesome being able to play it on the 3DS, nintendo needs to stop with the silly idea of putting the ds vc games on the wii u and need to make them available on the 3DS where they belong

  1. Was expecting actual rewards, not Miitomo clothes… Oh well, I’ll just keep saving! Got 610 Platinum (including Miitomo) coins!

  2. Haven’t been on My Nintendo since it started I don’t even remember how much anything I had, though not that it matters they are pretty much punishing me for wanting physical rewards and not having an entire digital only collection why did they need to shut down Club Nintendo exactly?

    1. Because Nintendo. It just feels like a upgraded Deluxe Digital Promotion (the one they did for the Deluxe Wii U editions). I would barely call this a Club Nintendo replacement with what they offer now.

        1. Have you been to the my nintendo site yet? It’s not really confusing once you get there, you don’t have to keep track of any coins yourself, it complies them all for you

  3. If anyone expected MyNintendo to be anything other than a complete failure, than you must have put too much faith into Nintendo. Of course they would give you zero rewards and expect you to buy games from the EShop in order to get coins and use for games in the EShop. Nintendo gave up on physical rewards a long time ago.

  4. The best rewards I say are on there right now are discounts on games. But as far as I know, your digital purchases are still tied to your system and you’re unable to download them anywhere you want to. Which makes going digital for Nintendo games still a problem. If they plan on extending this service to the next console and handheld, which we know they will anyways, they’d better fix this.

  5. Well, that’s just brilliant. What happened to earning points for playing games? What happened to actual rewards? I don’t want a discount, I want the full game. The LoZ picross doesn’t interest me because of how few levels there are. I got SMB Deluxe completely free from Club Nintendo, which is not only a great game (other than the zoomed-in screen, but I get why it’s there) but also has replay value. There’s no way for me to earn more than 20 coins a week because I don’t have anything that can run Miitomo. Is Miitomo the only reason for MyNintendo’s existence? It sure looks like it right now.

    1. I got a lot of awesome games from Club Nintendo as well, so you can imagine my disappointment for My Nintendo. Nothing but disappointment so far, and Nintendo severely missed their chance by failing to make it a success from the start.
