Shigeru Miyamoto has worked on many of Nintendo’s beloved franchises, from Mario, and Zelda, to Star Fox and Pikmin, but not many people know of his involvement with the original Pokemon games. To celebrate the series’ 20th Anniversary, The Official Pokemon Channel has released a video in which the legendary game designer thanks the fans, congratulates the developers, and explains the role he played in developing the first titles.
