If you never had the opportunity to experience Virtual Boy games then you will be pleased to know that an unofficial emulator has been released for Google Cardboard which allows you to experience the niche virtual reality titles. To get the program up and running you will need an Android based smart phone and the RetroArch emulator, and of course Google Cardboard. Reddit user The-King-of-Spain said he didn’t experience any of the Virtual Boy’s trademark motion sickness while playing the games through Google Cardboard.
“After about 30 minutes of play time, I’m not experiencing any of the Virtual Boy’s trademark motion sickness,” writes The-King-of-Spain. “There’s also something to be said for playing the games in grayscale instead of the headache-inducing red. It’s pretty cool to see Virtual Boy games in their full stereoscopic glory, but the added depth doesn’t seem to add much value gameplay-wise.”
What google cardboard?
Basically a cheap virtual reality headset by Google (the outside of which is made of cardboard).

I really like the idea of a cardboard headset like that. Creative indeed! Hell I’m going to have to look into that now, is this the poor man’s headset? :D
Not legit. If it aint red and black, wonky design, and requires you to hunch over a desk to play it, it isnt true virtual boy.
If not clear, i speak from vast experience.
