If you were paying close attention to the background music in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild‘s E3 2016 demo, you may have noticed a familiar tune. A slowed-down version of the “Song of Time” can be heard in the demo, which you can watch footage of and hear the song playing in the video below. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is scheduled to arrive sometime in 2017 for Wii U and Nintendo’s upcoming NX system.
The Song Of Time Can Be Heard In Zelda: Breath Of The Wild’s E3 Demo

I love how they keep finding ways to hide secret melodies in Zelda!
That is actually an awesome find! This game is going to be great!
now wait for people to be like:” timeline connection confirmed!??
Wellll, the Temple of Time is present… I personally have no idea where this game will fit in the timeline though :P
This is the kind of amazing stuff in Nintendo’s games, that just lets you know that so much love and care has been put into making and polishing their games!
This game is going to be amazing, I absolutely can’t wait!
Really cool. I hope we hear other melodies and see other references too.
We can definitely expect this game to have a ton of that Nintendo Polish :3
||I want to hear the Song of Doom…||
Can’t wait to learn more info about this game and what’s next for Nintendo in 2017.
I’ll likely get it for the NX.
That building Link is in & climbing on has a similar outer design to the Temple of Time from Ocarina of Time, so maybe the Song of Time is playing in the background slowly because that IS the Temple of Time.
