It would appear as though the original Darksiders game will be coming to the Wii U, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It’s long been thought that Nordic Games were working on a AAA title for the Wii U and this would clearly fit the bill. No doubt we shall get an official announcement in the coming weeks. Would you pick up Darksiders for your Wii U?

Called it. And yes, definitely. While I enjoyed Darksiders II, I wasn’t crazy about it. Some baffling design choices and the technical issues of the Wii U port really dragged the game down. From what I’ve heard, the first one is much more focused, and hopefully Nordic Games won’t go under while porting it, as it happened to THQ.
It’s a great game and i have played it both on Xbox 360 and PC. But i don’t know if i would want to pick it up for a third playthrough again, since i allready own it. But i guess it depends on price and if they add something extra. Would be nice with a third game for the two remaning horsemen. But i guess if this sells well and attracts new players and fans it will happen sooner if it’s not allready in the works :)
But for thous that have not played the game and a Zelda fans i can really recommend it. It’s a darker and more action oriented gameplay and story. But i think most people would like it.

This is great news. I never got around to playing when it was on last gen consoles but I heard it was better than the sequel. I’ll certainly check it out

Too bad they releasing that game too late I have the Pc version and the same for the sequel. I don’t see any reason why I should buy it, but for the people who didn’t play any of those games and like RPG or Zelda type of games just go for it as you will enjoy it.

That is kind of misleading in my opinion. If you say you are working on a AAA title, that makes people think of a new game, not an old game. But as I said, I would most likely buy it.

If Darksider’s future is going to be multiplatform for Sony, Microsoft, AND Nintendo consoles, I might get this on Wii U since I got the sequel on Wii U. Unless Darksiders II works better on PS4. In which case, I’ll get Darksiders 1 & 2 for my PS4 and just sell my Wii U copy.
I got the second as part of a Humble Bundle. I will definitely pick up the first, especially if it’s a full retail release.
