Analogue, the company that created the wireless receiver for the NES console, has now launched a SNES version, allowing players to use wireless controllers with the retro console.
The wireless receiver plugs into the SNES and is compatible with a range of different Bluetooth controllers, meaning you can use the PS3 and PS4 controllers, as well as the Wii U pro controller or the original Wii remote. Also, due to the device being created in partnership with 8Bitdo, it is also compatible with 8Bitdo’s wireless SNES controller.
The wireless receiver can be purchased on Play Asia for $24.99/£19.90.
Hmm, maybe i could mod it to use it for pc use
Or just buy the already available bluetooth gamepads. Works great with emulators.
I hope we get a sega saturn one.
Maybe a genesis one?
I guess this goes to show it’s never too late to bring out new accessories. Gotta love the retro love.
It’d be pretty cool if they made a wireless one that works with the Wii U.
