This year’s GameStop Expo will take place in Anaheim, California on September 14th. According to the expo’s official website, attendees will get to see “an awesome array of over 50 new and unreleased playable games from top publishers such as: Activision, EA, Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Square Enix, Ubisoft and many more”, confirming that Nintendo will preview some upcoming games there. Whether any new games will be announced at the expo is uncertain, but we may hear more about Zelda: Breath of The Wild and Pokemon Sun & Moon. Assuming Nintendo reveals the NX on early September, this would be a great place to showcase some of its games. Just a thought, Nintendo.

Tokyo Game show is at September 15th-18th and the Gamestop Expo is September 14th so it is possible to see new NX titles and the console itself during the Gamestop expo as Tokyo is 16 hours ahead of California, so the two events will basically occur at the same time/Day, with roughly a few hours difference.
Nice observation but, since Nintendo doesn’t have any presence at the TGS, I don’t think it’ll affect anything.

NX reveal detected!
I don’t think they will showcase the NX at the Tokyo Game Show because of competition with Playstation this seems like a better idea.
We should be getting some NX news soon then.
I don’t need to hear anything more about BOTW. I want to hear about something NEW. Like that rumored Super Mario NX title in the works. And it would REALLY be great to hear about an Animal Crossing NX game (a real one. Not a spinoff). I don’t know what Nintendo will show unless it’s games we’ve already seen plenty of, or some NX games? But sadly, I doubt they’ll show any NX exclusives. Since they’re still keeping so quiet about it.
All this support Nintendo is constantly giving to Gamestop in spite of how much hate this place actually gets. It makes one wonder. Are they… Are they planning on buying Gamestop at some point & converting their stores into Nintendo “World” Stores? Or are they trying to pay off Gamestop so Gamestop will give them more room in their stores? If it’s the latter, it’s not really working since the Wii U & 3DS sections only take up two sections of their walls at the Gamestop closest to me.
So NX reveal is between this month and early September? Slay a bit.

Well what do they still have in the Wii U and 3DS pipelines besides Paper Mario: Color Trash and PKMN Sun & Moon? I guess they still have Zelda BotW but I feel that was done to death at E3 being their only title there.
The NX reveal is going to happen before Gamescom, calling it now. It only makes sense.
