Tomorrow is the day when we find out which games are available to download on the North American Virtual Console. One of those game is the critically acclaimed Mega Man X which will be arriving on the New Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console. Here’s an overview of the story:
Hundreds of years after his death, Dr. Light’s final creation is discovered. Released from his capsule by Dr. Cain, “X” is born into the world of the future where robot rebellions are a thing of the past. But when Dr. Cain tries to implement Dr. Light’s designs into a new series of Reploids, something goes horribly wrong. Now, the future lies on the brink of destruction and X must use all of his newfound powers and abilities to hunt down the maverick Reploids and their leader, Sigma, before the human race is wiped from the planet!

Maybe I should play this since Project X Zone 2 has me very interested.
One of the greatest platformers ever. If you have for some reason never played this game, do yourself a favor and download it. Amazing level design, boss design, sprite art and music. You’d really have to nitpick to find any flaws.
… unless you hate platformers.
