Bandai Namco has confirmed today that the well received Pokken Tournament has shipped over one million copies worldwide on the Wii U. The figure was secured five months after the game shipped on Nintendo’s current home console.

This is very exciting news. For Namco, and many other companies, making a successful product probably means that they should do it again. Hopefully this gives them a reason to develop a Nintendo NX version with new features. Great job Namco, Game Freak, and Nintendo!
I just hope we get a brand new sequel for the NX

Wow, that’s good for the game. I would’ve presumed not since it’s a fighting game, and not an entry-level one from the looks of it.
Since it’s only 1 million worldwide, I can’t get too excited & happy about this. If it was 1 million in just one country, I would find more reason to get excited. Least it’s selling something, though.
