Shin’en Multimedia Says That Their Next Project Will Be With Nintendo

Shin’en Multimedia recently took part in an interview with Nintendon.com, where they were asked what they would like to do after they finished with FAST Racing Neo. They said that “the problem is I can’t talk about it. I’d really like to talk about it, but if I say anything…. let me put it this way: we’re very happy to work with Nintendo, we’ll keep doing it and our next project will be with them. We’re also carrying out new experiments and creating new prototypes, but I can’t talk about this either, because they’re so deep in their initial stage that there would be no point talking about it now.”

  1. Well, surprise surprise. Do they have games on non-Nintendo platforms? I can’t think of any.
Anyway, the way Sauter mentions it makes it seem like they’re pitching prototypes in the hopes of getting to work on a Nintendo franchise. Which would be a wise move for Nintendo, they need to start outsourcing their franchises more often instead of just sitting on them. We’ve seen some examples in recent years with somewhat minor titles, but it’s still not enough.

    1. As long as it doesn’t result in another FedshitForce, I look forward to Nintendo outsourcing some of their franchises.

  2. This one of the many reasons why Shin’en continues to support Nintendo. From Nintendo 3DS to the Wii U. These German developers keep pushing the envelope on all levels. FAST Racing Neo is one shining example. Let’s all root for Shin’en and hope for their very first indie game only for the Nintendo NX.

Thanks Paidenthusiast for sharing this news.

    1. No problem N-Dub…….I’m more than happy to share any type of great Nintendo news with my fellow Nintendo teammates ;)

            ||Perhaps, still doesn’t change anything, plus they will all fight eachother to get it…||

            ||That’s what the plus means, Sonyan civil war their leaders enjoy watching…||

        1. An increase of 10 bucks!? Call the police! There is no way people can afford to pay 60 bucks a year in America! /s

If the value goes up to match the price, it’s all good. Netflix’s raise in price was bullshit because it was still roughly the same mediocre service. But they’ve since corrected that with plenty of original content that you can only find on Netflix. Hopefully Sony will do something in turn to make the raise in price worth it.

            ||There are many Sonyans that believe the complete opposite even at its current state, the suffering and deception they feel only makes it better…||

            1. Yeah. I noticed on IGN’s article about the price change. So many upset over 10 extra bucks. This just reminds me of people bitching over having to pay 5 bucks a year for PokeBank all over again.

    ||Aslong as you continue to support our army, I shall trade with you without any hesitation…||

  4. ok i think everyone just ignored the idea of this being a f-zero games. 1) they wanted to work on a F-zero for Nintendo, 2) they said they are working with Nintendo on this new project 3) Nintendo hinted they would be making a f-zero game, which they also elaborated “would have to be with the right controller” 4) they ^ just said working on prototypes, which could mean controllers

fairly sure this is going to be a F-zero

  5. Galactus The Planet Devourer

I like their games and the quality they deliver. It looks and plays like a top notch game. Like a lot of effort went into it. They’re always impressive. Love it

  6. I can get behind why they won’t say anything because of it being in the initial stages. I wish Atlus & Nintendo had done the same with that so called Fire Emblem X Shin Megami Tensei game. MAYBE the game we did get, when finally released, would have been better received otherwise.
