The rumor mill continues with a couple of Reddit posts that have surfaced about a Universal Studios gathering that took place roughly two days ago, with one of the posts saying it was around 2pm local time. They’re reporting that Miyamoto was there with a film crew, and they were in front of the Universal ball. The area was blocked off by security and photos were not allowed. One of the posts says “you could see Miyamoto very well” at this filming. However, with the information being so vague and Nintendo being unlikely to comment on the matter, it’s hard to say what will come of this for the time being, but there is plenty of speculation on the matter. We’ll let you know of any further developments, if they happen.

Are we talking Universal Studios in California? or Orlando? Or Japan? Are there any other details on which park?

Are you sure because the first Nintendo park at US is suppose to be at US Japan. If it was at Orlando, that would bum me out as I was there just a couple weeks ago.
Japan is the first place they will be building Nintendo attractions. As I recall, it’s at the front-left side of the entrance.

Hopefully Detective Pikachu will be the first Nintendo movie they make. It might be but I wonder if they can make a movie for the time being.

Miyamoto was in my home town!?! Neat! I’d guess he was filming a commercial to promote the Nintendo attractions that will eventually be coming here.

well since Miyamoto-san had a pay cut for the low sale figure of the Wii U, life has been hard for him and he has to turn into acting with Mario and peach, daisy and Luigi having to do some sort of gymnastic actions…. Joking
