Image & Form has revealed that it initially wanted to include more than a single-player option in SteamWorld Heist. Multiplayer was “seriously considered” for the game, but the developer ultimately decided against it due to time constraints. “We would love multiplayer and seriously considered it for Heist,” said Image & Form community manager Julius Guldbog. “In the end we ran out of time, simply.” Available now on Nintendo 3DS, SteamWorld Heist arrives on Wii U this Thursday, October 20, in North America.

There’s your Multiplayer right there ∆.
Free for the day, for everyday.
Release it as free DLC!
Then it can be just like Metroid Prime federation force!!!
That game was a huge disappointment to me. It lacks so much content. There are only 2 worlds and almost all the levels are randomly generated. Each mission plays just like the one before it. There are almost no new gameplay elements appearing during the progress of the game. The hats, a seemingly important part of the game because there are so many, do NOTHING! There is no motivation in collecting them. The story is boring and meaningless. Reading the dialogs is a waste of time. This game has much less content than Cave Story, which was made by ONE MAN! The credits in Steamworld name like 30 people! What could have saved the game for me was multiplayer. Because the core gameplay is well craftet, the Worms-like appeal would have made a perfect multiplayer game. How they managed to miss this opportunity stays a mystery.
worms is one of my favorite games of all time, but that’s because of the multiplayer aspect.
