This year’s Game Awards also had a new trailer for Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment, which will release in Spring 2017. If you want to check out the trailer, we’ve included it for you down below, so feel free to do so.
Here’s A New Shovel Knight: Specter Of Torment Trailer

Hype
Yes, Hype indeed
Can’t wait for this!
Is this free content ?
Yes!
Wow it’s amazing these guys are still supporting this game lol definitely got my money’s worth from this game
The control/ handling of Specter Knight looks like it will be really rewarding.
Specter knight was always my favorite character. When I heard he was getting his own quest, like Plague Knight did, I was over the moon.
This new DLC, however, looks to be even better than I could have imagined. It looks like it will have a lot more extra content than Plague of Shadows did.
How much new stuff did they add!? Literally everything looks new.
This… is going to be good.
This game looks BADASS!
This is a game worth hyping over, The game on it’s own is amazing! And it keeps getting better with each new story added. So happy i backed this masterpiece from the start.
I really wish they would just make a new game already. Free content is awsome but honestly I’d rather pay for a new game …with…. You know, shovel knight?
I’m not 100% sure, but I ~think~ they are obligated to do these DLCs per their Kickstarter stretch goals.
I can’t wait for a new game either, however the DLCs usually contain enough new content that they feel like almost getting a new game! (Just in my opinion of course!)
Yea you may be right. I like the content too, but everyday they spend on dlc is just another day they are not spending on a true sequel. Or maybe they are? I know they are a small outfit so it’s doubtful. Either way it’s hard to complain about free dlc.
I’m firmly on the Shovel Knight bandwagon and hype train! Must get the amiibo!
Sick Deals. More content on top of other content I haven’t even touched yet?!
YES Please!
