It seems people are quite interested in porting Pokemon Snap to other platforms, because two users have managed to port it to 3DS and VR. The former was done so by Ganjulationess3DS, and the latter was done by Spenser Solys. Both users have uploaded footage of their accomplishments to YouTube, so if you want to see it for yourself, feel free to check them out down below. The VR video doesn’t show off gameplay until the 5:52 mark, so if you’re interested in just that, you can start the video there.
Video: Here’s Footage Of Pokemon Snap Working On 3DS & VR

Only goes to show that people are serious about wanting more Pokémon Snap. There is so much potential for a sequel, for example with more Pokémon, a weather systems, day-night cycle, branching paths, so many more potential locations (I always used to dream about a level that took place in a busy city when I was little), and much more. We never even got to see all original 151!
Sure, the photography mini-game in Sun and Moon was a welcome addition, but it’s not a substitute. Pokémon Snap is the game most deserving of a sequel, in my opinion.
Well it looks like trash but its a start
Snap VR could be a cool pack-in with a Switch VR headset…
Lol @ the Kangaskhan in a T-pose
Pokemon Snap on Wii U was such a hugely missed opportunity. Even on 3DS would have been very welcomed & made as much sense on there as it did on Wii U.
