It’s a brand-new year in most parts of the world and to commemorate the start of 2017, Nintendo has unveiled a new piece of artwork for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in reminiscent of the original Zelda on NES. It depicts Link in a kneeled-down position with a sheathed sword in his right hand, gazing at the sunset while situated on a flat peak. You can check out the new artwork below and compare it to the original piece above. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is scheduled to launch in 2017 on Wii U and Nintendo Switch.

  2. I’m so glad 2016 is finally over with. Not because the Switch reveal is just around the corner but because of the amount of notable deaths from last year piled on top of the thousands of others that lost their lives last year. Of course, 2017 isn’t off to a good start for some people. Don’t let the shit that happened this morning bring ya down, Istanbul!

    Oh & nice art, Ninty…
