In the rumoured sequel to Hyrule Warriors, Nintendo have announced that Tecmo Koei is bringing Fire Emblem Warriors to the Nintendo Switch. The two franchises seem like a perfect fit, the world of Fire Emblem filled with heroes suitable for the Dynasty Warriors gameplay. There isn’t any detail on a release date, but we hope it’s soon!

Well, now it seems like I need to start playing games from this series, the first two remastered w/ Marth are very good.
The two with Marth are very mediocre and not worth it IMO
You’re better off starting with Awakening (assuming this is your first FE game). It’s a good game to get your feet wet, and you don’t have to understand much of the game’s lore to get into it. Fates is hit or miss, depending on what version you go with: Birthright’s easier, Conquest has the better plot (in a manner of speaking), and Revelations is somewhere in the middle.
The remastered titles with Marth are only good if you want to play as Marth outside of Smash Bros.; other than that, they’re mediocre at best.

Because you get to utterly destroy dozens of enemies in seconds & wipe out entire armies with just one or two characters!

If Sigurd or any older Fire Emblem lord isn’t in this, I would care less about this game.
Better treat all Fire Emblem fans equally with the roster.
