We are only weeks away from the Nintendo Switch launch which takes place globally on March 3rd. To ramp up consumer appetite, Nintendo UK has unleashed an extended Nintendo Switch commercial which highlights the portability of the system along with some of the games that will be out by the summer including big hitters such as ARMS and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. You can give it a watch, below.

  1. Very good, it promise a social life to nerds and depict them as models. It’s perfect to gain customers in today’s society. They could have not done it better. Better than Apple’s ads too.
Anyway they could have skipped the 1-2 part because that’s too much… it’s too much idiotic that game for western people.

  2. I’m really excited for the Switch! And it’s coming out in such perfect timing for me personally. It’s my last year in high school, so the Switch will be perfect for use in college. Will be getting the Switch as a graduation gift instead of the traditional class ring. Can’t wait to get my hands on it!

    1. For me too, planning on playing it with my children. Already widespread the hype among them, maybe some of their birthdays one of their gift would be a game. Perfect timing for being a father. ^^

  3. Love the new ones of the guys playing at work and the guy playing when his girlfriend obviously wants him XD.

  4. I like the commercial except that its just a rehash of the reveal trailer, with a different, cringier song. That butt metal they used is pretty bad. No joke.

Meanwhile, as usual, in America under the idiotic regime of NintenD’OH! *facepalm* of ‘Muridiots, not a single commercial is seen yet on television. Newsflash, doing one little commercial during the Superbowl is NOT going to do much. Now if the trailer puts heavy emphasis on a surprise Madden game for Switch, maybe that might turn some heads. Otherwise, good luck with that.

Unless those tweets equal sales, it doesn’t matter how much it trends. Besides, that’s no excuse to not have a shitload of marketing going on on television during big events as I’m sure even Wii U was quite trendy before shit hit the fan.

        1. This is the first time nintendo did a super bowl commercial which cost 5 millon dollars and the ads are spectacular compared to the wii u’s cringy marketing plus a very cheap paid online price and more games being announced I say its safe to say the switch is a win win for nintendo! :)

          1. I agree, the super bowl is a very big corporation, if that over size “I can see from space” bill boards with at least 150,000 people and then some on the channel watching, its going to hit people dot smack in the face.

Oh & they’d do well to have a commercial for when Wrestlemania rolls around that can be seen on the WWE Network, which is only !!!9.99!!! a month, too. Of course, having a surprise announcement of WWE 2k18 being in development for Switch during Wrestlemania would do some good, too! Then again, they’ll probably save that reveal for SummerSlam which is one of the top 3 biggest WWE PPVs of the year.
