We all know that EA’s big title for the Nintendo Switch is the immensely popular sport franchise FIFA. The game will be FIFA 18 and is custom-built by the Vancouver team. Game Reactor caught up with EA’s chief competitive officer, Peter Moore, this weekend in Paris to quiz him about the game and unfortunately didn’t get too many answers.

“Well, as we have said, we are custom-building a FIFA version for the Nintendo Switch,” Moore said of the game. “It will be FIFA 18, and it will obviously be later this year when FIFA 18 comes out.”

“And I look forward to seeing the Nintendo Switch,” Moore went on, “we are not far away from its launch and in fact, here in Paris, I was very impressed to see FNAC stores with Nintendo Switch in the windows.”

“What you have will be a custom built version for the Nintendo Switch from the FIFA development team in Vancouver.”

  1. I really hope they include The Journey and Ultimate Team with this. I hope it’s got all the content of the Xbox One and PS4 versions just the graphics built for Switch, with FIFA 18 offering the same physics and gameplay across all platforms.

  2. Okay so its not a rebuild of an old game. Thats good news I guess, but its also a bit depressing that we dont just know that automatically, we have to press people for information to find out if we get a legit version or a watered down version, or an older build of the game with a 18 slapped on the box.
