The Nintendo Switch is nearly due to be released and who better to unbox the system itself than Nintendo Europe president Satoru Shibata. Although he’s presumably spent a lot of time with the system he seems very pleased to be given the opportunity to unbox a retail unit. You can check out the unboxing video, below.
While I have had about enough of the unboxing videos, that is a very nice looking device. To get a system as powerful as it is, whether you think it is “underpowered” or not, into something smaller than the Wii U gamepad, you have to come away impressed. Can’t wait to get my hands on it
The portal part is a gimmick if you don’t care much about it. In the end the only thing that matters is “will it play third party triple A titles or not” or are we buying it for 10 amazing Nintendo games again.
That said the only games I would consider buying for the WII U are Yoshi, DK tropical Freeze, Monster Hunter 3, Xenoblade chronicles, Captain Toad, Windwaker HD, Smash Bros, Super Mario 3d, Mario Kart and maby pikmin ,splatoon and star fox only for nostalgia reasons.
Those are 12 games and the only one I would buy 100% is Super Mario 3D. The others just look like games I might enjoy, altough I probally will enjoy xenoblade and monster hunter since RPG games have always been my favorites.
I am not sure that what you said relates to what I am saying at all. i am not talking about games or anything else. It is a very intriguing and from what I can tell, pretty technically impressive device. It looks very sleek and sharp and that, nothing else, is very cool to me.
We won’t know about the games for some time.
What I meant is that its all irrelivent to me if the above is going to happen again.
I’ve never understood the reason for unboxing videos, but then again I don’t like spoiling surprises much.
I mean if you bought one, aren’t you just going to do this yourself? Blah.
Does anyone know if game saves will be tied to our account?
So when HE unboxes a new system, it’s okay.
Well I already have the FIRST unboxing. And Nintendo can’t take THAT away from me.
