One of the surprise announcements yesterday was news that Disney was planning to bring back some of its classic platforming action in the form of The Disney Afternoon Collection. Unfortunately the game was only announced for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One leaving a few Nintendo Switch owners a little miffed. However, a Twitter user reached out to the publisher Digital Eclipse who said there’s always a chance, let Capcom know. We have heard this thing before with the Wii U, but if you want the game inform Capcom.
Thanks to MasterPikachu6 for the tip!

They will do it without asking.

This game is perfect for the Switch. There’s no reason not to port it.

Eh. The originals were great, but I kind of liked Ducktales Remastered on the Wii U. All it needed was the original game built-in and it would have been perfect!

This must be some of that hard hitting 3rd party support I’ve been so much about.

I would like DuckTales 2 Remastered, but after Alan Young’s passing, and the trailer for the reboot, that dream is dead.

Note one: For how long Capcom will keep themselves alive by launching old games?
(In time: I absolutely loved the originals, and I think this collection is an amazing idea!)
Note two: Are we about to see “Wii U – part 2” all over again? How many times Nintendo fans are said to beg for ports that never came to the Wii U?

I really dont get why Nintendo isn’t working with 3rd parties (especially Japanese 3rd parties) on stuff like this on the back end. Why does it take the fans asking? This is Nintendo’s *job*

This is getting annoying. All publicers are happy with the switch, they tell they are gonne support it. Almost every game they say it is possible.
But at the end. None if them come to the switch. Hate it!!! I love the switch, and i will do.
From now on i will not buy games anymore that are on ps4 and xbox if they ignore the switch. Even when i would like to buy it for my ps4. Fuck them!!!

At the end of the day, Nintendo created this issue so it isn’t all on 3rd parties. Everyone is guilty, no one is innocent.

So port old NES games to PS4 and Xbox One, and not on a Nintendo System… This is perfect for a Nintendo System because the games were in fact on NES… At least VC it up for us…
