Fire Emblem Echoes Leaks Suggest Female Corrin Amiibo Is Coming

Sadly for Nintendo, information about Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia has started leaking online prior to its release. However, it has revealed some interesting information about the future of the Smash Bros amiibo line. Twitter user @Arno_LS has posted footage of a female Corrin amiibo being used ingame. While this obviously doesn’t confirm an unannounced amiibo, female Corrin’s inclusion suggests she might be coming. Check out the footage below.

      1. Ah, true, that makes sense.
Thought the female version could get its own amiibo as well, as it’s a bit more than just a standard alternate skin like other characters have them, but didn’t consider the fact that they put out only a male version amiibo for Robin too. Thanks for the clarification. (:

  1. So that was the 4th amiibo alongside the last of the DLC ones. Figured it would be with the Valentia’s release. If they went and did other ‘variants’ of Smash characters, like Male Wii Fit Trainer, Female Villager, Female Robin, etc (that I don’t remember), they could do a full wave of them after the DLC wave. It’d be a good way to stretch out the Smash line a little more, which was their better selling amiibo line anyways.

Exactly the point I made in a previous article. Why wouldn’t they decided to do something like this to extend the more successful of their amiibo lines!?

  2. im sureits just a alt, did they actually show a picture of her amiibo? for all we kno robin can work the same.

i just dont see a reason for female corrin out of all the other alternate characters to get her own amiibo.

wii fit trainer, olimar, robin, cloud, bayonetta, etc.

Because Female Corrin amiibo will be the first of her kind as alternate versions of the Smash amiibo line? They can call it the Alternate Smash Characters amiibo Line! I’d so buy every single Koopaling amiibo. That & I always wanted female Robin as I ignored male Robin. I’ll also buy Advent Children Cloud!

  3. Corrin is a garbage waste of space that could’ve been used on an character that was actually interesting. I can’t bring myself to like fire emblem anymore because of Corrin

  4. This doesn’t prove there will be a female Corrin amiibo, amiibos have always had the option of choosing male or female if the game allows it. If you have a Robin or Wii Fit Trainer amiibo you can still make it the female version in Smash Bros, the same will go for Corrin.
And before anyone thinks I’m against a female Corrin amiibo, I ain’t, I love female Corrin and would love to see her get an amiibo.

Can I get an amiibo of Princess Zelda in her Goddess Dress from Skyward Sword, too? She’s one of my favorite designs of Zelda, damn it! Twilight Princess Zelda SUCKS!!
