Nintendo has stated a couple of times that the highly anticipated Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be arriving here in the west this year. However some are doubtful given the lack of information or footage of the title. UK retailer Argos have the game listed on their system as an autumn release but this could simply be a placeholder.
Well I don’t think it would release in the same month as Mario which is scheduled for holidays. So this isn’t necessarily innacurate. WT I’m wondering is if indeed they will be able to release it in the west this year. We really don’t have any info on it at all. I can see for Japan but for the west it usually takes a little while unless their doing a worldwide release
I’ve been doubtful since the start, but if they fail in getting this out this year – Switch’s “steady flow” of games REALLY becomes a trickle.
Even with this in the mix, Nintendo needs some announcements at E3. Real third party support (beyond Skyrim and NBA 2K and Sonic).
cool?
If this actually does come out this year, I’m calling an early December release, and a mid-November release for Mario Odyssey.
If Argos is anything like RadioShack… This might be less than reliable. :P
It took 3 years +1 from localization before I was able to play XCX. I find it hard to believe that I’ll be able to play XC2 in less than 2 years of Development, fully localized. Either our new team is amazing, or they aren’t telling us something. Either way, the truth shall become clear at this years E3.
They need to start releasing games worldwide, instead of regions. Internet kills the hype, knowing about the game because it was released in Japan first.
All games*
I’m still skeptical about this after what happened with XCX.
