Producer Comments On Possibility Of Tekken 7 For Nintendo Switch

Tekken’s Producer, Katsuhiro Harada, recently sat down with GameSpot for an interview and talk of Tekken 7 coming to the Nintendo Switch platform came up. Unfortunately, at this moment in time, it doesn’t look as though the title will be appearing on Nintendo’s latest console any time soon:

“Officially, we can’t really comment on that because our company has strict policy about which titles we talk about for Switch,” Harada explained. “But personally, we’ve been so busy with trying to master up Tekken for the current platforms that we haven’t really had enough time to study the hardware. We couldn’t even buy it–it was sold out every time we went to look for it.”

  1. Number one, the producer didn’t really comment… In fact he said he couldn’t comment. :P But despite what it may sound like, it’s good news he can’t find a Switch! It means that they are wicked popular in his area. That should convince him even more to bring the game over!

      1. Changed for a bit to a different layout theme. Gone now, but front page had the articles in cubes rather than in a list. Used a darker colouring too rather than the white. Legit looked nicer.

  2. Well, Tekken Tag 2 for the Wii U was hands down my favorite tekken (next to TEKKEN DARK RESURRECTION for the PSP).

I can see Tekken 7 for the SWITCH coming in the future. & don’t give me any of that bullshit about “it’s too powerful for the SWITCH” garbage either!

Just port the game with those great graphics the SWITCH can produce & give me that official theme along side it.

…..mario, luigi, toad, princess costumes. Super Mario sound effects. Nintendo themed mini games like volleyball/ tekken ball. Etc…..

Oh… & his comment of “we can’t find a SWITCH because it’s always sold out”, sounds like a “oh hell yeah! We wanna put Tekken 7.on the SWITCH” to me. Lol
