The console costs $149.99 in the US and $199.99 in Canada, so it’s not cheap. That said, the handheld will not be released until July 28th, so even if you can’t pre-order the handheld immediately, you have plenty of time to do so.

Actually no, it’s pretty smart. Sure the Switch is out but it’s expensive and doesn’t have many games right now so it’s the perfect time to release the definitive 3DS
