It was bound to happen sooner or later but three brand new ARMS characters have been leaked in a video which has now been removed. No doubt we will hear more about them in the ARMS Direct which takes place at 11pm UK time this evening. Here’s the details:
- White Mask = Kid Cobra
- New White-Haired Girl = Twintelle
- Blue Robot Dude = Byte & Barq
There’s always got to be that one bloke that spoils the surprise for everyone….

Exactly man. I don’t mind leaks sometimes but this is ridiculous. We almost an hour away and this happens. Very reminiscent of the whole Smash Bros situation with Ryu and Roy being leaked before they’re revealed. This kinda ruins some of the surprise
True. But at least with Smash Bros, there were at least 99 other character leaks.
I love leaks. I was the same as a kid; could never wait till Christmas day so I used to sneak into my parents’ cupboard and see what they got me. I played with the N64 Rumble Pak for a month before I was meant to have it. Awkward when it didn’t work when I unwrapped it for Christmas and had to run to the store for new batteries. Mum still doesn’t have a clue…
Anyway, bring on 11pm!
Knowing the source of the leak, I think they just made an honest mistake and didn’t intend to leak the gameplay footage before the Direct. Their timing was just off.
Personally I have zero interest in the game. But just curious why people do leaks. It’s not like they get paid (aside from ad revenue from clicks, or something like that). What’s the draw in leaking it? And not for nothing, but Nintendo has been really bad at preventing leaks the past few years. Then again, I’m not exactly a computer wiz, so maybe there isn’t really much they can do to prevent it? I don’t know. But not something that’s gonna ruin my day. Carry on.

Sadly, some people do leaks simply to be assholes. Never underestimate the lengths some human beings will go to ruin another person’s day.

Is that a JZ on the black character’s chest? Her name is gonna be JZ, isn’t it? Or it’s the initials of her name.
Or it could be J7 instead of JZ.
I thought it was 52 in some odd font. Perhaps, if that’s what is, the number is significant to the character (age, number of films she’s been in, etc.)?
