Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be coming out on the Nintendo Switch this winter, and it turns out that Nintendo has brought in extra help in developing it. Tetsuya Nomura, known for work on games such as Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy VII Remake, is credited by Nintendo for doing a guest design for “Ira”. We don’t know exactly who/what the “Ira” design is, but that will likely change in the coming months.
My heart stopped for a secont when I read Kingdom Hearts
I had a feeling people would have that reaction. I haven’t gotten into the series, but I now how much people love it.Way to start a headline haha.
too bad it still looks ugly.
Still ugly. ^^
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Same goes for art. Some will think the art is hideous while others will love the artstyle. *shrug* Still, I expect this Ira character to be one of the most awesome looking characters in the game since Nomura designed him, or her.
As for the title, nice trolling, guys! lol
Ya no, Standards do exist but you’re right people can just like stuff like this I guess. I won’t though. These characters look so bland and same face, they’re extremely stylized in a creepy way. They don’t stand out for the genre or offer the expression that previous styles at least had. Especially in the first game. Like I get it was a painted look but all these characters have thin brows that simply move up and down. It’s real basic looking, exaggerated in an unattractive way, and uninspired too. Like That’s cool if you’re fine with it but a load of folks are turned off and it needs to be considered that maybe a better style could have suited the game at least. If you’re fine with this though that’s fine. Whatever. I however, am super disappointed.
