Uncharted Developer Naughty Dog Says Super Mario Odyssey Is “Legit”

Naughty Dog’s creative director and writer, Neil Druckmann, stopped by Nintendo’s E3 booth to try out Super Mario Odyssey. He enjoyed his playtime with the upcoming Nintendo Switch game and called it “legit.” You can see a picture of him playing in the embedded tweet below. Druckmann is one of the main people responsible for Sony’s acclaimed Uncharted and The Last of Us franchises. During E3 this week, Nintendo announced that Super Mario Odyssey will be released on October 27.

      1. “Nintendo announced Metroid Prime 4, Metroid: Samus Returns, a release date and more details on Super Mario Odyssey, more stuff on ARMS and Splatoon 2, a New Yoshi Game, a New Kirby Game, Rocket League, more gameplay of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, announced a new Pokemon Main Series game for Switch and more information of Xenoblade Chronicles 2” IN YOUR FACE SONY FANBOY!

Also, Sony barely showed anything new whilst Nintendo and Microsoft actually showed new games…
        DOUBLE KILL!

      2. I don’t know if fans should be upset that they lost something, or that something they loved was fucked full of holes, and those empty holes were filled with with casual mechanics to appeal casual cattle?

      3. as of now Capcom don’t have any plans on bringing the Switch port of MH:XX outside of Japan.
In the end, all of you (including Nintendo-bots) are fucking pathetic for hanging out and arguing which console is better. Get the system that has the games you like and shut the fuck up. (PS4 boiio here, planning on getting Switch when Mario comes out)

      4. Buy some glasses and watch the Nintendo Spotlight. 25 minutes they showed many trailers.

Sony showed so many games but I don’t see so much clapping by the people.

    2. Yes. Games for little kids, and big kids, and adults, and just about anyone that enjoys video games and wants to have a good time. That’s the beauty of Nintendo. Their games are capable of appealing to all ages, while Sony on caters to one group.

      1. Granted my statemeent wasn’t 100% accurate, but you see what I mean. Nearly every game Nintendo released or will be releasing this year can be enjoyed by any age group. On the other platforms, those games are in the minority. My nephew has an X1, and his mother has told me before that she has difficulty finding good games that are appropriate for him.

    3. It takes only one epic title to overcome a multitude of good titles. PS4 has much better games than the switch but none of their games have nothing on Zelda BOTW.. .and at E3, Sony had nothing on Mario. And it would have been total Murder if Nintendo press TED as much as an oil painting to tease Metroid Prime 4…. They just had to calm down

    4. Mature is not the word I would use for Playstation games, if little kids are the ones that fill mostly the online community. A game that has blood and gore, drugs, sexual themes, those for me aren’t mature. Yeah it may contain mature themes, but that doesn’t necessarily mean mature… In my eyes, those games are more immature for trying to be more than it should.
And calling losers people online is not something a mature person would do, just saying…

  2. It damn well better be legit. it’s one of Switch’s big exclusives this year. Looks like it’s going to be a decent game from the sounds of it. Switch owners get some good news!
