  1. Metroid isn’t even on there unsurprisingly. Though it’s a shame the trend of metroid games not selling well in japan will likely continue. I just hope that firstly the game makes up for (probably) not selling well in japan by selling great in the west. Secondly, I hope nintendo doesn’t care too much about where the sales come from (especially japan sales).

    1. Metriod prime federation force sold 1.4 million. Nintendo gets 51% of its profits from 3DS games/hardware/accessories. Goes to show that glasses-free 3D really does pay off (63 million 3DS + 5 million 2DS equals 68 million 3DS family of systems). It seems that the people who play with the 3D ON are constantly buying games for the 3DS, and the New Nintendo 3DS has gotten the majority of people to play with the 3D on. Hell, the developers of Metriod & Ever Oasis said that they choose the 3DS because of the 3D effect (also how the 3DS got Resident Evil & Kingdom Hearts & Kid Icarus & Smash Bros. & etc.). Metriod Samus Returns will sell 1.5 million minimum I think. Now if only the Power Rangers movie was in stereoscopic 3D, it would have made more than $300 million at minimum, instead of a maximum of$140 million….Lionsgate lost. Both Lionsgate & Reletavity, I have no idea what their smoking.
