    1. It seems to be working right now but I legit can’t even start a party or anything and the way it’s basically telling me how to do it feels so asinine and so much fucking work just to chat and it physically hurts me. I just wished that the whole phone thing was just an option but it seems you need to not only use your phone but the switch at the same time so it’s like why the fuck not just have it on the damn switch!!!

      1. Because Nintendo don’t want to deal with moderation. That’s why they must send this capability on another device.

This way, the Switch itself remains safe to use for children. Otherwise you would NEVER have got a voice chat, cause that can’t be moderated, like Miiverse was.

  1. You can’t have any other apps open when using Nintendo Switch Online.

This is inexcusable and needs to be fixed ASAP. If Pokémon GO can fix letting you listen to your own separate audio, Nintendo can fix this.*

    * Yes, I’m aware Niantic made Pokémon GO. That is beside the point.

    1. Have you ignore the fact that nintendo said this year is a trial period for the app? They’re going to be testing things throughout this year that’s why they will do the paid service starting next year… so quick to talk man. It’s not even a are they going to fix it it’s a they fix it later. Jesus calm down

    2. Okay, so correction to the earlier post: Other apps can be open. Voice Chat doesn’t require them to be closed. It just suspends the chat when other apps are open, and it returns to the same room when you reopen the app.

That’s definitely better than what I initially thought was the case, but this is still an issue that needs to be dealt with.

  2. Ridley X3 {Jaded Ninty fan. Greatness Awaits at Sony PlayStation 4. Awaiting Greatness on Nintendo Switch; just need cloud storage, add external HDD support, & to eliminate the need for that stupid Nintendo Switch Online App on smartphones.} says:

So we get to see the trainwreck before it becomes a paid subscription?
