The Pokémon Company has revealed today that a new form of Lycanroc will appear in the forthcoming Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon which is scheduled to be released this November. The new form is Dusk Form Lycanroc. Here’s more information provided by the Pokémon Company:
The colors of Dusk Form Lycanroc’s body and eyes differ from those of previously discovered Lycanroc, Midday Form and Midnight Form.
You can’t get Dusk Form Lycanroc on your team by ordinary methods, such as discovering the mysterious Pokémon in the wild.

What? It’s just a sunny Lycanrock with orange fur and a slightly longer mane.
GameFreak don’t seem to want to work on Pokemon anymore if this is the best they can muster, Sun and Moon were so excessively linear and hand-holdy, as if they didn’t want you to ever find something of substance by accident, and now we’re getting a “third version” kind of deal that’s just a bunch of palette-swaps?
No thanks, I’ve learned my lesson after buying the overpriced mess that was Sun and Moon, which are now actually selling cheaper than X, Y OR and AS, I’m done with Pokemon.

Maybe their juggling Ultra Sun and Moon with getting started on the switch title? Who knows, but if their focus was split between two main series titles, it would make sense.

If this is the in-between of the two Lycanrocs, it leans too much towards Pokemon Sun, to the point where they barely tried.
what if there is a dawn form as well that leans more towards the midnight form?

Not really much of a difference. Honestly, If I never saw this announcement and found it in the wild, I would probably think it was a shiny one. I’m not complaining though; really looking forward to this game!

So this was the only news for yesterday concerning Pokemon? How very disappointing. But it’s my fault for expecting a ton of new data when I should have expected nothing but disappointment so I wouldn’t end up disappointed.
