Nintendo Is Now 128 Years Old

nintendo's company logo

Today is Nintendo‘s birthday. The company was founded by Fusajiro Yamauchi on September 23rd, 1889. Yamauchi is the grandfather of Hiroshi Yamauchi, who was Nintendo’s third president from 1949 to 2002. Originally, Nintendo was founded to produce handmade hanafuda playing cards, an area of business that Nintendo is still involved with today. However, the company branched out to many other areas of business throughout the 1960s. Among the things Nintendo tried out was a love hotel chain, a TV network and even a food company. It wasn’t until the late 1960s and early 1970s that Nintendo entered the toy and video gaming industry.

Happy birthday, Nintendo!

    1. Uhh Hello Mike S!

Yes mii hope live to 128 years too because mii mother loves mii and that will help mii live to that long as well too. If you don’t love me though I will only live to like 100 years. That would be sad and Uncle Bobby would not be happy!! D:<
