Interestingly, Nintendo has stated on Twitter that news about the upcoming Japanese Splatoon 2 Splatfest was actually incorrect. The information apparently only went out to certain users and that we will be informed about the next proper Japanese Splatfest towards the end of this week. The theme was Power vs Stamina.
