Switch has NO games………. that interest me beyond Super Mario Odyssey, Fire Emblem Warriors, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, & Metroid Prime 4 (whenever that releases.) lol

    1. You know what’s funny about this comment? I see so many other people (mainly PS4 users) complain about “no games that interest them” on Switch, yet they all own Switches. I guess it’s time for us all to admit that the console, or at least it’s core concept, really is that great.

A legitimate complaint for some as they are waiting for specific games that aren’t on the Switch yet. Like Mario, like Metroid, like Smash. For them, the concept ultimately has nothing to do with their purchase as they bought the system for those games; it’s a bonus for them at best. The concept is a great idea, I admit, but so was the Wii U’s concept. The difference is Switch has better marketing & 3rd party support. Without those things, the Switch would have eventually ended up being just another Wii U. And if Wii U had these things, it would have been a success instead of the failure it sadly is. *shrug* Oh well.

        1. And I would counter by asking why would anyone buy a console when only a handful of games interest them? I’d never buy a console if I knew I’d only end up complaining about it’s lineup online. It’s why I haven’t bought a PS4 yet. It just never made very much sense to me. But bygons be bygons etc. Also, I think it’s generally understood that the switch’s core concept is on another level from the Wii U’s. Many people purchased the system because of its concept, something that had the opposite effect on Wii U. They are not in the same league and, honestly, we should move on from that comparison because that also doesn’t make very much sense.

It’s no different if someone buys a computer for one or two things when it can be used for dozens of other things. Same rule applies to a video game system. Besides, a handful of games could easily cost more than the system itself. Once someone spends more money on games than they did on the system itself, they got their money’s worth for that system. And if they still complain, oh well. That’s their right whether anyone else likes it or not.

            1. Lol who buys a whole computer for one or two things? Typically, people buy a video game console for what it’s made for; games. Not a game. Not 2 games. They buy it for a worthwhile library. Also, it’s absolutely your right to complain, but it’s literally in every post you make. Lmao

I buy a computer for internet & music. So yes. A lot of people do buy a whole computer for one or two things. I got a great library on my PS4 & just one game for my Switch which should be 4 games by the end of the year. Til then, I’m not gonna be satisfied with my Switch. So I’ll complain when I feel like it. If I’m complaining literally in every post, oh well. It’s not my problem. As I told Brandy, if you don’t like it, don’t read my comments. Simple as that.

                1. Oh I don’t really care. Complain on. I’m just trying to understand the logic of buying something you know you won’t be satisfied with. If you choose to spend your time complaining instead of playing the games, go ahead. At least you own a Switch.

Oh I play the games when I’m not on the net or watching something. I’m addicted to social media activity (here, Facebook, & sometimes Gaia Online) & that’s why I’m seen so much by some of you. (We don’t get many visitors here so the net is my best place to have some kind of human contact even if it isn’t in person. Human contact through a screen on the internet is better than none at all. Not to mention I’m more socially active on the internet than I am in person. I’d never talk to complete strangers, for instance, in real life.) As a kid, I didn’t do much complaining when something annoyed, irritated, or pissed me off & now I got a anger problem in my adult life because of it, so I complain when I can to reduce any outbursts. Hence my complaining. Or as I like to call it, venting out some necessary angry stress. lol Better I complain on the net then blow up on someone at home.

  2. I was one of the people complaining about no games I want to play on the switch. That might not be true anymore. I got Bomberman, Zelda, and Mariokart at launch. Zelda I can’t get to yet cause I haven’t played the other games. Bomberman was terrible. I played a few games and it feels like shit, plays far worse than previous bombermans despite much higher price, and Mariolart is the same game I played to death on WiiU.

Since then, I did the Tetris Demo and loved unlimited tetris for free, and then when the game went on sale I bought it cause why not. Also downloaded the Octopus RPG but haven’t played it yet. Also bought Golf Story, haven’t played it yet but damn that game looked good. Then Stardew Valley came out. I haven’t played the game even though I’ve heard great things so that’s a no brainer.

Then I played the Pokken Tournament demo, and loved it,m and bought the game full price, and I love the way the gameplay feels. I also love the 3v3 battles, feels more like an actual pokemon battle. I wish they had that mode online. I was like “Really? They haven’t even patched it in yet?” then I realized the game just came out only a couple weeks ago. I dunno why I thought it had been out for months already. I hadn’t planned to pick up that game so close to launch! The demo was just that enjoyable. Kicking the ass of big ass pokemon with little pikachu is too much fun.
