Every week has given us a new bit of info on the upcoming Detective Pikachu movie. However, we now have news on the movie’s release date. According to Deadline, Universal Pictures has given Detective Pikachu a release date of May 10th, 2019. There was no news on any cast additions, but fans now know exactly how long the wait will be before the movie releases.

It will be interesting to see how a Pokemon movie stands up to a movie that a series of other movies have been leading up to for the last decade.
