Rumour: Blizzard Apparently Working On Diablo 3 For Nintendo Switch

A rumour has emerged from Neo Seeker that Blizzard is hard at work on Diablo 3 for the Nintendo Switch. The site says the following:

“Blizzard is looking to implement local play with multiple Switches, allowing you to team up for local co-op action as you run around Sanctuary to stop Diablo.”

Of course this is just a rumour at present but the site speculates that the announcement could come at Nintendo’s E3 event in June, or Gamescom and Blizzcon later in the year. The game is speculated to come to the Nintendo Switch early 2019.

      1. Yeah save your sarcasms for a real occasion. Hearthstone is literally everywhere since it’s a card game that doesn’t require an major enhancement, you can have a decent phone and play on it with no problem and I’m sure porting it to switch won’t be a problem. But the director or blizzard didn’t see any benefit or profit to take the time to porting it, again what makes you think they’ll put any serious effort investing time and resources in a game that is not popular anymore on the switch and that also require optimization of resolution and framerates?
Take those biased glasses off, makes you look ridiculous.

    1. Diablo 3 has been on other consoles before but Hearthstone is only on PC and mobile and it seems like Blizzard wants to keep it that way for whatever reason. It’s not even on PS4 or XBO.
