The team over at AtGames has confirmed on Twitter that they are the team behind the recently unveiled Mega Drive Mini. What is also interesting is that they deleted the tweet with the announcement. The company is known for making previous builds of the Mega Drive and “flashback” consoles. However, the team did say that the Mega Drive Mini is “new and improved” so it should have some new tech behind it.
The rumors are true! Sega is going to release the Mega Drive Mini in Japan, powered by the latest AtGames technology. This same new and improved technology will find its way into the US and other territories later this year! #MegaDriveMinipic.twitter.com/4kbVKEz8oK
