During the Reboot Develop 2018 talk, Platinum Games spoke briefly about the upcoming Bayonetta 3 on the Nintendo Switch. The information was relayed by a translator who said the following about Bayonetta’s next adventure for the Nintendo Switch.
He did say Bayonetta 3 would be a linear core progression action game, which is no surprise, but also Platinum wanted to do something new, add new gimmicks and new ways to play the game.
“Bayonetta 2 was a fantastic title and they need to make sure this is leaps and bounds above that,” the translator relayed. “They know that the fans expect crazier, better, tighter action games. If they’re going to put out Bayonetta 3, it’s going to have to raise the bar.”

As long as it’s not TOO gimmicky. I wonder what they’re thinking of, though? Maybe Bayo and Jeanne Adventure through each chapter together, and you can switch at any time? With maybe a “Double Climax” feature?
I have high hopes for this game.

This will be one of the best weapon for the Switch
Can’t wait to see it in action. I have no doubt it’ll be amazing. If it’s somehow better than Bayo2, that’d be impressive.

What I want to know is why Bayonetta got split in half in the Bayonetta 3 reveal trailer… Did she die?
Bayonetta 2 was not “fantastic” it was a crock of shit compared to the first game. 3 damn well better be good.
your probably the only one that thinks that, can you really say route 666 was a highlight in bayo1? now that was a gimmick
I personally hope they don’t include any of the following.
1. Mention of memes
2. pointless censoring
3. sluggish online
4. costumes that make no sense to be in the game at all.
5.overpriced dlc( but then again it never had dlc so i’m unsure if had to add it).
But regardless this title does sound promising
