Japanese magazine Weekly Famitsu has revealed the release date for Sonic Mania Plus in Japan. The 2D platformer will be coming on July 19th and will cost 4,490 yen. Similar to the western version the Japanese retail version will contain an assortment of pre-order goodies including a soundtrack CD and art book. For those who own the original Sonic Mania you can get the game for 500 Yen. SEGA is expected to announce the western release date for Sonic Mania Plus today.

Perhaps in other regions they will also give discounts to people who own Sonic Mania.
