  1. Are you taking a leaf out of NintendoLife’s book with that spun headline? They’re a disgraceful site, they used to be good but now they’re slow, inaccurate and full of trolls. They used to be impartial but they’re so far stuck up Nintendo’s rectum I’m surprised they can even breathe. They’re in Nintendo’s pocket.

Sales were abysmal in Japan this week, they have been for some time. The Caligula Effect: Overdose took the top spot with sales of just 20,000. Last week Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze was top with equally poor sales.

    Labo is a flop.

    1. How is it a spun headline if what it say’s is a fact? You sound a bit obsessive as no one should be getting that upset about sales figures and I take it you have every bit of data to suggest Labo is a flop?

    2. I’m pretty sure the headline says that Switch games hold 7 of the 10 best selling games for the week, and absolutely nothing about the sales being incredibly high or record breaking, so where’s the spin?

Kirby has been out for 2 months, sold 500K, the BEST Kirby has EVER sold in Japan. Labo has been out for one month, (half the amount of time) and sold 200k between the two kits. So, in 50% of the time, it’s sold 40% as much of the fastest selling Kirby game in Japanese history. That’s not a flop, it’s basically matching Kirby’s best numbers ever, so would you consider other Kirby games flops then? I wouldn’t think so.
