Even though Inklings are essentially squids that have adapted to life on land, devouring other types of squids isn’t out of the question for them. In a recent interview, Splatoon 2 producer Hisashi Nogami gave some insight into the controversial Inkling diet, which apparently consists of veggies, fish, bread, birds and – yes – even calamari.
“Inklings in this world are an evolved form of the squids in our world,” said Nogami. “Things like the food chain still exist. It’s definitely possible that an Inkling could potentially eat squids. From what I understand, salmon in our world will eat squid if they have the opportunity. How things are actually happening in the food chain in the world of Splatoon we’ll leave that to the imagination.”
Gyarados might eat magikarp!
Cannabalism!? That’s too adult! Think of the children! D:
14 is technically an adult in the animal kingdom and a 14 yo human is a child.
Inkling vore is now canon? Let’s sit back and watch the community burn, friends.
I’m gonna have to ask you to sTOP
Just stirring the pot for you fine folks.
